Hello members of the TFCD!

First and foremost, I want to thank all of you for taking an active part in politics. Tennessee is lucky to have such passionate young Democrats, and I’m glad to be on your team.

I’m running for governor because I’m passionate about Tennessee’s success, too. I care about this state so much that I couldn’t stand to sit back and do nothing. I didn’t want to look back 10 or 20 years from now and regret not stepping up to the plate.

This election will shape Tennessee’s future for generations to come. Our state can become a leader in the new economy where Green = Green. It’s not just about saving the planet but also making money for Tennessee.

I have a plan that will create jobs in Tennessee. College graduates shouldn’t have to worry so much about finding work opportunities after receiving their diplomas.

I need your help. I’m a father of five daughters, ages 7 to 20, so I’ve learned a thing or two from them. But I’m hoping you can teach me more.

What do you care most about? What issues are important to you and your friends? Write to me. Facebook me. Call me. Tell me your thoughts on moving Tennessee forward.

I could also use your help on the campaign trail. With fresh ideas from volunteers like you, our team would only grow stronger.

I am really eager to start working with you.

Helping our state become a pervasive force in the new green economy will take each and every one of us. I can’t do this without you.

Sincerely,

Ward Cammack
