Spending time in my dad’s newsroom as a little girl, I couldn’t escape the field. Since then, I’ve worked for national, regional and local newspapers. I have interned and corresponded with USA Today, covered neighborhood news for The Tennessean, written entertainment previews for Chicago Sun-Times Media, and produced multimedia for Tennessean.com and my college student newspaper’s website, lsureveille.com, which I also helped grow.
I’m versed in news and features writing for both print and online, as well as blogging, shooting and editing video, and creating soundslides.
I am currently freelance writing out of Chicago, and the Managing Director of the phenomenal literary publicity firm JKSCommunications.
