OTHER STATES CAN SEND US MONEY, CAMMACK SAYS
Candidate’s latest blog post explains how to enhance tourism, grow revenues
NASHVILLE, TN, August 18, 2009 – In his newest blog titled “Alaska’s Glaciers and Tennessee’s Ash Spill,” Ward Cammack addresses the change in direction Tennessee must take to enhance tourism, create jobs, grow revenues and reduce health costs.
He writes, “Our real assets are our base of educated people, modernized facilities and our mountains and streams. We must protect our assets to make our state prosperous.”
Tennessee transfers wealth out of the state to purchase coal. By becoming a primary source of renewable energy and a global green-tech leader, Cammack writes, “other states and countries can send us money instead.”
