Gubernatorial candidate explains how community colleges, tech centers
will help decide Tennessee’s economic future
NASHVILLE, TN, August 14, 2009 – Ward Cammack is asking everyone to jump on board the Green Line.
In his newest video, Cammack explains how Tennessee should build upon success-proven partnerships between the new businesses he plans to recruit and the more than 40 community colleges and technical schools across the state.
“We have great educational facilities in place, but we can do better,” Cammack says. “There’s so much more we can do. And to not move forward and take advantage of these is a waste of resources.”
Cammack’s plan for these higher-education institutions will deepen Tennessee’s communities and create jobs.
Cammack is a native Tennessean and long-time businessman who left the investment business after 30 years to help Tennessee in a unique time of challenge. His professional background provides the ideas needed to successfully steer Tennessee out of this economic storm.
