Ward Cammack is a native Tennessean and long-time businessman.
For thirty years, Ward’s job was to help small businesses across Tennessee’s 95 counties develop plans so they could grow, succeed and create jobs. He wants to bring that experience as an entrepreneur and businessman to the governor’s office and bring green jobs to Tennessee.
Ward is a leader on environmental issues, recognizing that Tennessee can be a leader in the new economy where he says, “Green equals Green.” He’s pushing issues that not only protect our environment but that help our state prosper.
Ward is a former triathlete; and he and his wife, Shelley, have FIVE daughters.
He knows the importance of healthcare and education, and he has a plan to advance our healthcare industry and make the Tennessee school system one of the top in the nation.
